Appointments

Since 80{43db09e4a59639453327e9e0c06403af0bf585fccb13d8eee2b23e9b428289fb} of our patients are school aged children, it becomes obvious that some of our patients must miss some school on occasion. To help accommodate everyone, we try to maximize the number of before and after school appointments. This is accomplished by requiring that the more time-consuming appointments like the placement and removal of the orthodontic appliances be done in the late morning or early afternoon. This helps free the before and after school slots for our shorter appointments, accommodating more patients at a more desirable time of day. Appointments are scheduled in 8-10 week intervals.

Please allow the following time for each appointment type:

  • Records, if not part of the Initial Examination – 30 minutes
  • Clinical Consultation – 30 minutes
  • Initial Bonding – 2 to 2½ hours
  • Adjustment Appointments - 30 minutes

Late arrivals

If we have the time we will gladly see a late patient. However, this is not always the case and the patient may need to be rescheduled, which will prolong their orthodontic treatment.

Missed Appointments

Appointments are scheduled at intervals for the best treatment progress. Broken or missed appointments or excessive tardiness will prolong orthodontic treatment and may necessitate an additional charge.

Rescheduling

We require 2 business days notice in the case that your schedule has change and you are unable to make your orthodontic appointment. We will be happy to then find you a new, more convenient time and day for your appointment.
